Great for Sports earbuds and awesome design for comfortability, very expensive, I rate these a 4/5
Hey everyone what a day is it outside just getting going for the new year and things are feeling great.
You know that feeling when your at work in the city and it’s the new year just started; the wind is blowing, people are moving and it just feels great? Well that’s what it’s like for me right now as I’m getting ready for another topic review and another new pair of truly wireless earbuds.
Lol, I seriously just had to mention that.
Anyway, the review to which we shall perceive today is on the Audio Technica sport’s true wireless.
The wireless headphones are an all time necessity to which every human carries around so why not invest?
Now after reviewing so many other earbuds over time I now think Audio Technica make some of the best wireless headphones when it comes to true wireless.
If you’re specifically looking for truly wireless then I recommend Audio Technica over most other brands.
These earbuds retail for AUD$323.62 so they are not cheap, nonetheless let’s move forward.
The ATH-Sport7TW were released at the 2018 IFA alongside the ATH-CKR 7 TW and have been a major player ever since. The difference between the both of these earbuds is that the ATH-Sport 7 TW are from the Sport range.
Let’s see how they turn out by the end of this review shall we?
Do not pay retail, order from this website for the lowest price available.
Wired, wireless or truly wireless all play a very big role when it comes to performance.
The ATH-SPORT are loud with a low end bass that works well with the overall look.
After putting them in your ears because they have the ear wings combined with Audio Technical design technology, it was very apparent that they were not going to fall out anytime soon.
I can truly recommend you buy these earbuds, the comfort is astonishing.
Design and looks
Well these are the sport’s version and I have left a link to what’s called the higher end version at the top of this review. As mentioned earlier these sport’s earbuds were released with ATH-CLR7 as a cheaper version made for sport.
They sport a 5.8mm driver and to the eye they are actually very big.
It’s hard to imagine that these earbuds are actually the sport’s version even though they are.
These earbuds great part about them is there unique hear through operating system, that allows you to tap the left bud and it will feel like you have taken them off. The HearThrough feature lets you hear everything from the outside which is absolutely marvelous technology, these are the features I always recommend you to opt for.
Each time the earbuds are fully charged, you will get 3.5 hours of talk time. Now, again, the issues with truly wireless earphones is the fact that there is nowhere to house the battery, and the first thing I noticed with these earbuds was they sport 3.5 hours. Most truly wireless earphones will only come stock standard with 3 hours.
Now don’t get to carry away on the low battery operation because something else that these earbuds sport in terms of charging is the battery case actually holds extra charge as well in addition to and extra 14 hours.
The case has two orange LED lights on the outside that turn on when the buds are put back in there can.
The case is a rectangle shape close to a pill design but a little more oval shaped. The case is also made with a mat black finish that is going to make finger prints and dirt look far less noticeable on it.
With ear wings that come already attached is great and seriously makes the earbuds SO much better.
Fit and comfort
The fit and comfort of these sport’s earphones are serious great. Now me personally, I’m not really into the true wireless but after reviewing these Iam.
The technology used with these sports earbuds is mostly on the comfort and making sure they stay in place. If you look at how the ear tips literally attach to the buds it’s quite outstanding!
The wings on these earbuds are not coming off, they are made that which incorporates within the design.
Having a design like this is so much better than the usual ear wings that you get in the box because, they simply fit better.
The wings that you attach with other earbuds (if they aren’t great quality) can fall off leaving the earbuds to fall out.
The sound tubes that connect the buds are abbreviated in a 45° degree angle and this technology is also proven to keep the earbuds in properly, which I can vouch for as well.
To insert these earbuds, you simply bend them into you ear like your actually putting a proper object in, they are great.
For sport’s true wireless, you would normally think because they have no wire that they would fall out while your running? This design is made to stay in and I’ll bet we won’t see this design much with any other earbuds, but if we do, you know I’ll know.
There are also Comply tips that come in the package and other accessories if you wish to try different things out.
The sound is seriously a signature sound that only Audio Technica has.
These earbuds have a very controlled and balanced sound that I think most people will love.
They have a lot of bass and actually more than I expected.
If you want more detail than go for the others ones which are called the ATH-CKR7TW.
Because of the ATH-CKR7TW having a 11mm driver, when listening through them everything is so clear and the sound is just so crystal clear. This is what Audio Technica wanted because it marks there signature sound.
So because the earbuds that we a reviewing now only has a driver of 5.8mm the sound isn’t going to be as clear, but is does punch bass.
The treble and overall sound stage can be heard and for truly wireless earphones you can complain.
Well because they are a sport’s headset they are meant for sport so I don’t expect everything from them, and that’s what they deliver so I do like what Audio Technica have done.
I would definitely buy a pair if I was going to use them for trading because there design technology is so far ahead of the rest of the game.
If you look at the ear wings you will opt for these straight away because of there secure comfort design.
Well that’s it for this review I think I mentioned everything I can about these earbuds.
Please check out the links and compare the two for yourself and tell me which you like better.
