My Honest And Complete Review On The Jabra 45e | The Wireless Earbuds

Compatible with leading third party fitness apps, and charging case provides two full charges, maybe a little expensive for everyone’s taste

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I did a review on a set of earbuds that in my opinion look great and feel good to. They were the neck band Jabra 65e earbuds. The reason why im doing this review the very next day is because it goes hand in hand with the two different styles im talking about, with regards to the same type of earbud.

The differences between them is the neck band, one is a hard plastic rubber neck band and the other is a soft rubber neck band. I explained in my review yesterday that I thought the Jabra 65e were going to be a good headset for people in business that use the phone a lot because on the neck area of the device is has the mute button. There were more aspects than this but that was just one that I thought was handy, especially if your taking calls all day. To be able to hit mute easily whilst on the phone is important to people working in business.

Well, let’s dive straight into this review and see where we stand with this pair of jabra earbuds, the Elite 45e.

On the box there’s two indicating points that I think Jabra are really trying to hit home with and that is that it’s got the technology of 2 microphones, which is going to give you a much clearer call quality when intercepting calls. The other feature that they wanted to hit home with is the flexible memory wire neck band.

The packaging is actually quite nice, it’s a box within a box that which as you open it you will pull out a smaller box on the inside that has all the accessories like the USB charging cable, extra gel eartips and the quick start guide. The packaging looks like they have really made it look nice.

If you were to ask me, what is the best wireless headphones ? I would quite happily respond, let’s find out!

The first thing you notice when trying them on is the magnetic earbuds, that which because they have magnets within them if you decide to run or need to move quickly they aren’t going to go flying off. When you finish listening to your music you can connect them back using the magnets or they may gradually get connected as you’re moving around, and again the core bass sound is quite crunchy, clean, with mid to high level highs.

Like most earbuds, the eartips come in a circular shape but with this model of earbuds they have an oval type of shape leaving it up to each individual with what they prefer. The ear tips and ear wings come connected already so there’s no need to worry about that and with terms of size they come in small medium and large for both accessories, ear tips and wings.

On the right side of the Bluetooth wire are the buttons that control the volume, power and track skip. Also, on the right side is the USB charging entry. The charging entry isn’t just left exposed but has rather a small piece of rubber that which you open and close keeping any excess dust and what not out. On the left side of the Bluetooth wire is the exact same housing structure that which houses the two microphones. The buttons do make a clicking sound which is quite different, compared to the usual soft rubber make.

By simply holding down the middle power button for three seconds will allow the device to enter into pairing mode. When it’s entered into this mode open the Bluetooth on your phone and press into the connection. The volume buttons are pretty straight forward in which by pressing + the volume will increase and by pressing – the volume decreases.

The Jabra Elite 45e are really light and comfortable, by wrapping them around your neck you have them placed in position. Now the look and comfort with this pair is that they have three square structures on the Bluetooth wires which house different tech features. The difference with these compared to the Jabra 65e is exactly that, the Jabra 65e don’t have these three bulking square housing structures that feel uncomfortable. The major difference is the hard neck band on the Jabra 65e, that’s the review I did yesterday. So to compare the hard neck band to three bulky square housing structures the difference is not only really noticeable but it makes the comfort go downhill. Everything else is still the same, for example, oval shaped ear tips.

When you log into the app, it has all the usual features that many of the Jabra pairs have e.g. equalizer, equalizer presets. When using this to level out your musics tone sound it really works great and can make your music feel grouse within a great way. The white noise feature within this setting gives you are really nice amount of more natural sounds, which is another nice in app feature.

The sound is of a more low core end with bass but still keeps a nice crisp and crunchy sound. the sound is truly good but again compared to the Jabra 65e, the overall sound is I would say has a lower high. And by no means is there any hint of a poor sound quality.

Well there you have it, the differences are there. To me even though these are maybe better only because the Jabra 65e have that huge case and that’s to fit the earbuds in, because they are made to fit that hard neck band. So you can’t quite easily fit them in your pocket like you can with these. When comparing them to the Jabra 45e I try to like them better just cos I like earbuds but the three square housing structures really wreck it for me. I would rather the business model that I labeled the Jabra 45e yesterday. I know it’s not the hard rubber neck band, it’s just the size of the case it turns into because of it.
